EMERGENCY PROCEDURE

If your hot water tank is leaking, follow these steps.
1. Turn off the cold water coming into the tank. This will stop anymore water from entering the tank. The valve is found on the pipe on the right hand side, normally labeled 'COLD' on the top of the tank. If the knob is round twist to the right until you cannot turn anymore. If there is a lever be sure to pull or push the handle to be across the pipe.
2. Turn the gas valve to the off position.
3. Find the rating plate, located under the name tag on the front of the tank. Record the model and serial number.
4. Call us with the model and serial number and someone will be dispatched with the correct direct replacement tank.
