Shower Arm Diverter Valve Chrome Plated Solid Brass #841 Add a Hand Shower to your existing stationary Shower Head Here we have a simple device that permits the installation of a personal hand shower to your existing stationary shower head, or vice versa. This is also known as a transfer valve. Move the 1/4 turn smooth movement handle into one position and you have flow to the stationary shower head. Move it to the other position and the stationary head shuts off and permits flow to the hand shower. The device itself is made of solid brass that is chrome plated. It has three 1/2" iron pipe threads. One is female (complete with washer) to fit on to your existing shower arm, the other two are both male. One is used for the stationary shower head and the other is for the hand shower hose. Total length is 2-1/8" end to end.
